FARMING IS REBELLION

Dirt Candy Farm was born from the realization that self reliant food communities are imperative. Without control of our own food supply, we the people, have no power to make the decisions best for our local communities. Feeding ourselves ensures we aren’t being fed. Communities producing their own food are resilient and strong. When we vote with our dollars to support industrialized agriculture we are voting for less nutrition, less local resilience, and overall collective mediocrity. Small scale farmings capacity to build self reliant communities in resistance to subsidized industrialization make it a tool for change. Farming small is an act of rebellion against the system.
